Bergamascos marched in the Port Lorne, NS Canada Day Parade
The first Bergamasco litter born in Nova Scotia celebrated their 10 year anniversary at the Port Lorne Canada Day parade along the Fundy shore. The names of each of the 10 puppies were written on maple leaves and carried down the parade route along the road where they were born. Two of the puppies from that litter attended, Ayla and Anthea.
It was a historic day for the Bergamasco! First time showing in CKC at the Miramichi Kennel Club in Cross Creek, NB. Today Imperia of Windy Hill ( Kittie) bred by Susan Pickerill and owned by Susan Pickerill and Yvonne Bunevich was the first Canadian BOB in our breed and finished out the day with a Group 4 in the herding group under judge Will Alexander.
On the second day, Alp Angels Martensa goes BOB and Group 3 under judge Corinne Walker. Bred and owned by Jeanine Dell'Orfano and Joe Dell'Orfano. A great weekend for the Bergamasco in Canada!
